This school-wide approach to teaching mental health education is built around the New Zealand Curriculum and aligned with the Mental Health Education Guidelines. Consequently, it effectively helps children develop the necessary and age-appropriate skills, knowledge, and understanding to nurture their own emotional wellbeing and that of others.
